Health Equity (healthequity.in) is an initiative of Savita Memorial Trust, a public charitable trust registered under the Bombay Public Trust Act, 1950 (Registration No. E/1335/Anand, PAN AADTS5268B) ("the Trust", "we", "us").
By using this website or making a donation through it, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the website. These terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy and Cancellation Policy.
You may donate only if you are at least 18 years old and legally competent to enter into a contract. You must use a payment instrument that belongs to you or that you are authorised to use.
Donations should be made from within India. The Trust can accept contributions from foreign sources only in accordance with the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 2010. If you are not resident in India, please write to us before donating so that we can tell you whether we are able to accept your contribution.
This website exists to describe the Trust's healthcare work, to publish information about our programmes and to receive voluntary donations. We do not sell any goods or services through this website. No product is shipped and no service is delivered in return for a donation.
Any health or medical information on this website, including articles, blogs, news items and descriptions of our services, is provided for general information only. It is not medical advice and must not be relied on as a substitute for consultation with a qualified doctor or healthcare professional.
Never disregard professional medical advice, or delay seeking it, because of something you have read here. Always consult a qualified practitioner about your own condition. If you believe you have a medical emergency, contact your doctor or the nearest hospital immediately. Reading this website does not create a doctor-patient relationship between you and the Trust or any person associated with it.
Availability of any service described on this website is subject to eligibility, capacity and the clinical judgement of our medical team.
Donations are generally non-refundable. The circumstances in which we will refund a donation, and how to ask, are set out in our Refund Policy.
You agree that the details you enter on the donation form, including your name, email address, phone number, PAN and address, are true and belong to you. We rely on these details to issue your receipt and to meet our reporting obligations. We may decline or reverse a donation where the details given are false, incomplete or cannot be verified.
Payments are processed by Razorpay. Your card, netbanking, UPI or wallet credentials are entered on the gateway's secure interface and are never collected or stored by us. Your payment is also subject to the terms and policies of the gateway and of your bank or card issuer.
We are not responsible for a payment that fails, is delayed or is declined by your bank, gateway or network. Where an amount is debited without a donation being recorded, follow the process in our Refund Policy.
A donation receipt is issued for every successful donation. Whether a donation qualifies for a deduction under the Income Tax Act, 1961, and the extent of any deduction, depends on the Trust's registration status at the relevant time and on your own tax position. We do not give tax advice. Please consult your tax adviser before claiming any deduction.
